Four Canadian provinces issue ITAs for the latest PNP draws.

Recently in the previous week the provinces of Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Prince Edward Island issued (ITAs) invitations to apply to candidates through their (PNPs) Provincial Nomination Programs and in doing so have provided them the opportunity to take their first step towards gaining (PR) permanent residency from the (IRCC) Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Results of PNP draws between December 17-23

Ontario

On December 19th the province of Ontario issued 936 letters of interest to candidates from the Human Capital Priorities stream, which is part of the Express Entry programs, and had work experience in targeted tech occupations.

The candidates that were targeted by the (ONIP) Ontario Immigration Nominee Program had a minimum (CRS) score of 484-490. Also, the number of invitations that were given out is currently unknown.

British Columbia

On December 20th the province of (BC) British Columbia issued 153 ITAs in a targeted draw for candidates in tech occupation with a minimum SIRS score of 90 (the SIRS scores purpose is similar to the CRS score but is unique to the PNP draws held in British Columbia. The candidates that were invited for the PNP draws were from skilled worker and International Graduate streams along with some Express Entry candidates.

There were also additional invitations issued by British Columbia to candidates under the following occupations.

• 15 early childhood educators and assistants (NOC 4214) with scores of at least 60 points;

• 5 healthcare workers from the Skilled Worker, International Graduate, including Express Entry category, with scores of at least 60 points.

Saskatchewan

The province of Saskatchewan held its most recent PNP draw on December 21st, under the (SINP) Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.

The province issued a total of 468 invitations for the PNP draw from which 153 were issued to candidates under the Express Entry stream, while the remaining 315 invitations were issued to candidates from the Occupations-In-Demand stream. The candidates from both categories required a score of 80 or above to be eligible for the PNP draw.

Prince Edward Island

On December 15, Prince Edward Island invited 127 candidates to participate in PNP draws on 15th December using the Labor and Express Entry stream of the PEI PNP. Aside from them, there were also seven candidates with a minimum score of 62 who were invited through the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur.
