British Columbia PNP Tech Draw, 59 immigration candidates are invited

On July 27, British Columbia PNP Tech Draw was held in which 59 immigration candidates for provincial nomination. Candidates are invited under BC PNP Tech working in technology occupations. British Columbia has invited 6667 immigration candidates so far to apply for a Provincial Nomination so far this year. 

Eligibility requirements 

Invited candidates through British Columbia PNP tech draws must meet the requirements of Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration categories. These streams are managed under the Skills and Immigration Registration System (SIRS). Immigration Candidates under Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories are needed minimum scores of 80. And the invited candidates can apply for the nomination within 30 calendar days.  

British Columbia PNP Tech Program

British Columbia PNP Tech Draw was a pilot project to deal with the labour shortage in the Technology sector. It was launched in May 2017 and would become a permanent program. It is actually for in-demand tech workers and International Students. 

Candidates must be registered in any British Columbia’s Provisional Immigration stream with valid job offers. Along with 12 months of Work experience in 29 Eligible occupations. The job offer should be a minimum of one year.
