Exciting Update: Online Services Now Available for Paper-Based Parent Visa Applications
parent visa australia 2025 — A Useful Tip from Asif Consulting
We’re happy to share a helpful update for families applying for a paper-based Parent visa to Australia. The Department of Home Affairs has introduced a new feature that makes managing your visa application easier, even if you applied using a paper form.
What’s New?
If you have lodged or plan to lodge a paper-based Parent visa (such as subclass 103 or 804), you can now import your application into your ImmiAccount once the Department has confirmed they’ve received it.
This means you’ll get access to several online services that make the entire process smoother and more convenient.
Key Benefits of Using ImmiAccount:
Once you import your application, you will be able to:
- Upload supporting documents online
- Check the status of your application
- Update personal details quickly
- Receive and view official messages from the Department
These services can save you a lot of time and make communication with the Department much easier.
Who Can Use This?
This update applies to:
✅ All new and existing paper-based Parent visa applications
❌ Except for Parent (subclass 103) applications lodged before November 2018
So, if your parent visa Australia 2025 application was lodged after November 2018, or if you are planning to apply soon, this update is for you.
How to Import Your Application?
The Department has published a step-by-step guide to help you link your paper application with ImmiAccount. You can find this guide on the official “Apply and manage your application” page.
