IRCC Conducts Latest Express Entry Draw, Issues More Invitations to PNP Candidates
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 228 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in its latest Express Entry draw, targeting Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates.
The draw took place on September 5, 2025, with candidates needing a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 746. To be considered, applicants were required to have created their Express Entry profile before 1:39 p.m. (UTC) on March 31, 2025.
Recent Express Entry Trends in 2025
This is the fourth draw in September, following a major French-language draw on September 4 (4,500 ITAs), a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on September 3 (1,000 ITAs), and another PNP draw on September 2 (249 ITAs).
So far in 2025, IRCC has issued 57,297 ITAs across various categories. The majority of draws have focused on PNP candidates, with additional invitations going to applicants in the CEC, French-language proficiency, and priority occupation streams such as healthcare, social services, and education.
