Canada Express Entry Healthcare Draw 2025 Invites 4,000 Professionals
Canada Express Entry Healthcare Draw 2025 in its immigration strategy. On July 22, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 4,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates in the Healthcare and Social Services occupations category through the Express Entry system.
To qualify, candidates needed:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 475
- An Express Entry profile created before 1:08 p.m. UTC on March 13, 2025
This was the fourth Express Entry draw in July and part of Canada’s ongoing effort to address labour shortages in critical sectors, especially healthcare.

Since June 10, IRCC has followed a biweekly pattern alternating between PNP and CEC draws, while also conducting targeted draws for priority occupations like healthcare.
Pathway to PR for Healthcare Workers
Category-based Express Entry draws offer a vital route to permanent residency for candidates with CRS scores below 500, especially if they have:
- At least 6 months of full-time, continuous work experience
- Experience in a designated priority occupation, including many roles in healthcare and social services
This experience can be gained either inside or outside Canada.
