According to the Department of Home Affairs, Victoria’s can continue to use interim allocation places after October 5. Victoria’s will fill interim nomination places and will continue to nominate Skilled and Business Migrants.
Any candidate who is selected for a skilled visa, now they can continue to submit State Skilled Nominated Visa applications past the given date. Victoria’s has a significant interest in both skilled and business programs.
Places for Skilled and Business Migrants for 2020-21

Interim Allocation for 2020-21 of Victoria’s:
- For Skilled Subclass 190, 600 Places.
- 200 places for Skilled Subclass 491, In Victoria.
- For the Business Innovation and investment program, 400 places.
For the Investment Program Victoria received:
- From Skilled Migrants more than 2400 Registrations of Interest received.
- From Business Migrants more than 480 applications.
Once the confirmation of full 2020-21 nomination allocation for the Skilled and Business Migration programs, Victoria’s will reopen its Visa Nomination Programs.
