The program 23-23 expended the eligibility criteria across for both Skilled migrants update visa subclass for 190-491 and will be
open to offshore applicants

Victoria’s 2022-23 skilled visa nomination programs (subclass 190-491) are open now. To be considered for the state nomination class you must have submitted an (ROI) registration on interest.
An applicant who is living in Victoria and overseas, candidate must submit an ROI, after reading the requirements.
If you submit an ROI 2021-22 for a program, you have to submit a new ROI for the program 2022-23.

- This program provides two visa pathways.
The skilled nominated visa subclass (190) is a permanent visa for the skilled migrant to work and live anywhere in Victoria. And the skilled work regional visa subclass (491) is a permanent visa for the skilled migrant to work and live anywhere in Victoria to provide a pathway for permanent residency.
In past years, the applicant selects competitive merit to apply for visa nomination. But they have to apply for the ROI first or submit first for the ROI.
ROI will be open on May 23.
Not Selected in 2021-22.
This program is highly competitive with over 15,000 registration of interest in 2021-22 programs. If some applicants are not selected they can apply for the program ROI on 22-23.

ON-SHORE AND OFFSHORE APPLICANTS CAN APPLY
We can also be selecting the applicants that are not live or live outside Australia for subclass 190 visas in all eligible occupations.
The subclass visa 491, the applicant living in Victoria the offshore applicant can apply. We are currently applying for the health priorities occupations for subclass visa 491.

All occupations are eligible on the Department of home affairs for the applicants. The applicants no longer need STEMM and working in a target sector to apply for the occupations
