Saskatchewan PNP draw, 534 invites for Provincial nomination

The Saskatchewan PNP draw held on November 3rd in which 534 invites are issued for Provincial Nomination. SINP sent invitations to the immigration candidates from the International Skilled Worker Category. International Skilled Category invited candidates through two subcategories which are Express Entry and Occupation in Demand. 

Eligibility for Express Entry sub category Candidates

Candidates invited under both subcategories must have needed an Expression of Interest profiles with the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program. Minimum cut off scores for both categories were 68 while the requirements are different for both. The 272 invitations are for Express Entry candidates and candidates qualified with 68 points had work experience of 10 years with a Canadian Language Benchmark of 8 and higher. Otherwise, the Expression of Interest score should be higher to be eligible. Under Express Entry subcategory there were 47 occupations included in this recent draw. 

Eligibility for Occupation In-demand subcategory candidates

The 262 invitations are issued for Occupation in-demand subcategories and candidates all need Educational Credential Assessments. Under this category, there were 55 occupations included. 

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program uses the EOI system to select the potential candidates for the Regional Labour Market. Candidates have to demonstrate education, experience, language ability, age and connections to the province to be assessed. Candidates are awarded scores out of 100 for the International Skilled Worker on Points Assessment Grid.
