Quebec

In the latest Provincial Nomination draws Quebec has invited 998 skilled workers on November 24th to apply for permanent selection followed by another 513 on December 1st.

The draw which was held on November 24 did not target any specific NOCs, however, the candidates did require job offers outside of the Montreal Metropolitan Community along with an Arima Expression of Interest with a minimum score of 603 points.

However, these candidates were also required to have job offers outside the Montreal Metropolitan Community, and their profiles in the Arima Expression of Interest system needed to have a minimum score of 589 points.

These invitations were given out by the immigration candidates who were applying under the (QSWP) Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program.

British Columbia (BC)

On December 6th the Canadian province of BC invited over 188 candidates to apply for Provincial Nomination in British Columbia on December 6.

Out of the total number of candidates, 144 were invited in targeted tech draws with invitations being issued to candidates in the Skilled Worker and International Graduates categories and also included Express Entry candidates.

Candidates in this targeted draw required a minimum SIRS score of 95. The SIRS acts similarly to the Express Entry (CRS) Comprehensive Ranking System however it is unique to the PNPs of BC.

In order to be eligible to receive an invitation the candidates needed to meet a baseline of criteria specific to their program. The province invited candidates in the following manner:

Prince Edward Island

Those Express Entry candidates who want to be nominated by PEI have to submit a separate (EOI) Expression of Interest to the PEI PNP.

PEI awards a score to the EOI profiles on the bases of its points grid similar to the (CRS) Comprehensive Ranking System of the Express Entry and later on the highest-ranked candidates receive invitations to apply through monthly draws.
