Draws held by Ontario and Prince Edward Island for the latest Provincial Nomination Programs

ITAs issued to applicants by two provinces through recent PNP draws

This week candidates have received ITAs from Ontario and Prince Edward Island through the most recent Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) draws held this week, thus giving these candidates the opportunity to apply for provincial nomination and take their first step towards gaining (PR) permanent residency in Canada from (IRCC) Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

The PNPs of each province or territory are operated by that respective province with the exception of Quebec and Nunavut. These programs were started in 1998 and over time have become one of Canada’s most popular programs. Currently, over 80,000 PR admissions per year in Canada are thanks to the PNP programs. The PNP program has also proven to be an effective method for Canada to promote economic development in areas aside from those with high immigrant populations.
