Ontario PNP, Masters Graduate Stream draw inviting 326 Immigration candidates 

On August 25, Ontario invited 326 Immigration candidates under Masters Graduate Stream. Invited candidates can now apply for provincial nomination from the province. 

Expression of Interest scores 

Candidates are invited with an Expression of Interest scores of at least 37. There is a slight decrease in EOI scores as compared to the previous draw. Candidates have 14 days to apply after getting Expression of Interest. While the application fee is $1,500. 

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

Earlier this month, the OINP introduced its Intake system for Master Graduate Immigration candidates. Graduate international students along with masters degrees from any eligible institution can register themselves now under the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program. 

Ontario’s Masters Graduate Stream

To be considered under the Masters Graduate Stream, one has to sign up under the e-filing portal and register an expression of interest for the graduate stream. 

The province will invite eligible candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Which is eventually a pathway to Canadian Permanent Residence. One does not need any job offer to apply however one has to apply for nomination in graduation years.

  • Ontario College of Art & Design University
  • Queen’s University
  • Royal Military College of Canada
  • Ryerson University
  • Saint Paul University (Federated with the University of Ottawa)
  • St. Jerome’s University (Federated with the University of Waterloo)
  • Trent University
  • University of Guelph
  • University of Ontario Institute of Technology
  • University of Ottawa
  • University of St. Michael’s College (Federated with the University of Toronto)

Points for Ontario Immigration 

EOI profile based on Human Capital factors which will help to select potential immigrants. One can get even points for job offers with skill level along with Canadian work experience. The OINP scoring system depends on the stream. Some other factors such as work experience, wage, official language ability, education and in region of study or work. The province gives 10 points extra according to the needs of the labour market.
