

The minimum CRS requirement has been reduced further in the tenth all-program Express Entry Draw
On November 9th Canada’s held its tenth and most recent all-program Express Entry draw.
There were 4,750 candidates who received invitations from the (IRCC) Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. The minimum (CRS) Comprehensive Ranking System score requirement for this Express Entry Draw was 494 and eligible candidates were invited from the (CEC) Canadian Experience Class, (FSWP) Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the (FSTP) Federal Skilled Trades Program all of which are programs that operate under the Express Entry system.
The latest Express Entry draw is the second one in a row in which 4,750 candidates were invited the last one being held on October 26th and the CRS score also only dropped by 2 points which is the smallest decrease since the Express Entry draws were resumed.
Breakdown of Express Entry invitations
The IRCC has recently published data regarding how ITAs were issued across all Express Entry programs since draws were resumed on July 6 on CIC news. There were a total of 26,250 candidates who received invitations through Express Entry.
Among these candidates, a majority (13,774) were from the CEC in which eligible candidates already had one year of experience in both working and living in Canada within the 36 months prior to the submission of their application along with having a (CLB) Canadian Language Benchmark score of 5 for NOC B jobs or CLB 7 for NOC skill level 0 or A jobs.
The remaining 12,476 candidates were almost evenly split between the FSWP and Express Entry candidates through the PNP with the former getting 6,154 candidates while the latter got 6,322. FSTP on the other hand has not invited any candidates.
Furthermore, with the release of the Immigration Levels Plan 2023-2025 on November 1st, Canada’s target for new permanent residents has been increased to 500,000 for the year 2025 and the Express Entry has received the second-largest allocation of invitations surpassed only by the PNP.
