Saskatchewan PNP draw inviting Express Entry candidates 

Saskatchewan has invited 299 Express Entry candidates in its recent PNP draw held on February 25. Candidates are inviting express entry to apply for a provincial nomination pathway to Canadian Permanent Residence. In this recent draw by Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) candidates are invited from the International Skilled Worker category. 

Eligibility 

Eligible candidates for SINP’s Express Entry subcategory were invited to this Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)draw. Candidates are sent an Expression of Interest in order to be invited with a minimum of 70 scores. Along with this work experience in one of the 70 in-demand occupations. High In-demand eligible occupations include retail and wholesale buyers, medical administrative assistants,s and geological engineers. 

Candidates need to demonstrate their commitment through work experience, language ability, age, education, and ties to the province. Candidates are given scores out of 100 to the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid. Selected candidates on the basis of scores are issued an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination. Saskatchewan has started giving additional points to people on a bilingual basis from November 2020. 

Express Entry sub-category 

Saskatchewan sent invitations to candidates with profiles in the Federal Express Entry pool in its latest draw. Candidates with Express Entry profile and having 70 scores on the SINP’s points assessment grid are invited in this latest draw. Express Entry candidates invited through PNP are given additional 600 points.
