International Students return to Australia in 2020
Hundreds of International students are waiting for their return to Australia after the outbreak of a pandemic. Darwin University in Northern Territory is the first university which is in the country’s pilot program to bring International Students back. In the response of the second wave of Coronavirus, South Australia has paused the process of return of the International Students.
Return of International Students
The first batch of students traveling from four countries and up to 70 students from China, Japan, Indonesia and Vietnam will be back to Darwin on 30th November. They will transit via Singapore but the remaining 135,000 students have to wait until next year which includes India and Pakistan both students.
Health and Safety will be maintained for International Students
The International students are excited about the return to the Northern Territory. Once they are cleared by the chief health officer, they must be welcomed by the campus. Government providing them facility at Howard Springs for 14 days to avoid the threat to health and safety. There must be quarantine and Covid-19 testing upon arrival in Australia
People in Australia have to act according to the restrictions applied by the state and must stay at least 1.5 meters away from other people. If there are any symptoms of cold or flu, one must stay home and the Government will arrange a doctor home.
