In the most consecutive PNP draws, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia invited candidates.

This week, candidates have received invites from three provinces. This week, candidates have received invitations to apply through Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) from British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Prince Edward Island.

The provinces and territories of Canada run their own PNPs, with the exception of Quebec and Nunavut. Via these initiatives, qualified persons may be encouraged to submit an application for provincial nomination. Individuals who are nominated by the province might have an advantage when applying for permanent residence.
Almost 105,000 PR admissions each year are a result of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The annual number of PNP admissions started in 1998 and has been gradually rising ever since. Both the federal government and the provincial government view it as a useful tool for fostering economic growth outside of urban areas.
Earlier this month, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) staged two Express Entry draws, one of which took place this week and only PNP candidates were awarded ITAs. PNPs give individual provinces the ability to target job seekers who have the knowledge and training needed to fill local labor gaps and boost their economies.

Similar to Express Entry’s Points – based System (CRS), SIRS is solely utilised for the PNP of British Colombia.

In BC, there are five separate skill-based immigration streams available for applicants with a range of knowledge and expertise. There is also a Fast Entry BC option for four of these streams. Candidates in the fifth stream are Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled, which means they lack job experience under a NOC code that qualifies for Express Entry.

As a specific response to the crisis in Ukraine, the province additionally invited one candidate whose country of residency is Ukraine. Hence, 468 invitations have now been sent.

Isle of Prince Edward:On February 16, Prince Edward Island sent out invitations to 222 applicants through the PEI PNP’s Work and Express Entry streams. Also, six candidates who had at least 70 points were invited through the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur program.
