One year of continuous full-time or equivalent paid work experience in a skilled occupation classified as TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 by the National Occupational Classification (NOC);
Validated language ability in English or French equivalent to Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 across all abilities (reading, writing, listening, and speaking); and a Canadian educational credential (certificate, diploma, or degree) or a foreign credential and an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report.
Applicants for the FSWP must score at least 67 points on the IRCC’s six immigration selection factors.
Demonstrate that you have enough money to settle in Canada with your family.

The federal government, as well as the provinces and territories, can each run its own immigration programs. The federal government, however, makes the final decision on whether a candidate can obtain permanent residence. Express Entry is a federal system managed by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that is one of the primary ways Canada welcomes economic class immigration. Express Entry manages three of the federal government’s many economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

When a candidate expresses their desire to become green card holder, they will be assigned a score based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which is used to identify educated professionals who will be most successful in Canada and have participated throughout the Canadian labor market.
