Express Entry invitations are increased in 2020
Quarter3 is the biggest quarter for Express Entry
This summer, a lot of candidates are invited for permanent residence via Express Entry System. Even the outbreak of pandemic could not control invitations to apply for Canadian Immigration. In third-quarter of 2020, a total of 28,450 Express Entry candidates were issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs). The record number of 78,350 ITAs issued this year.
2020 is a record-breaking year for Canadian Immigration
Four different Express Entry draws were held in the month of August. In Express Entry System applications take processing time for 6 to 8 months. So the invited candidates will get permanent residence until 2021. Although Immigration data is not released yet how many permanent residents are admitted.
Canadian Immigration through Provincial Nominee Program
Candidates with low Comprehensive Ranking System scores can get additional scores of 600 points with a provincial nomination. Candidates who are not much hopeful in the Express Entry pool should have ties to a certain province through a base PNP. In the biggest Quarter which is Quarter 3, the provinces of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia, B.C and P.E.I held PNP draws.
The B.C PNP holds draws every week especially for skilled workers. Same as Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program has held four invitation rounds for Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupation in-demand streams.
The Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program had six invitations round in this quarter. Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Worker Overseas and the International Stream was included. Ontario held 3 draws to invite candidates for provincial nomination. About 2,000 candidates were invited in these draws.
The Nova Scotia Nominee Program also held a Labour Market Priorities draw. The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program also held six invitation rounds through Business Impact, Labour Impact and Express Entry Categories.
Quebec held its biggest draw in which 365 candidates were invited for migration.
