

Canada’s 401,000 immigration target for 2021
Canadian Government has a target of 401,000 immigration targets for 2021 which is challenging to achieve. But this recent Express Entry draw which is on February 13 and inviting 27,332 candidates to apply for permanent residence, depicting the pace of the government towards this difficult target.
After the outbreak of the pandemic 3,500 candidates were invited per Express Entry draw. Even by the end of 2020 Express Entry draw record broke by inviting 5,000 candidates. This recent draw held on with the highest ITA in this year with 75 points.
Once a candidate receives an Invitation to Apply for a permanent residence, the immigration process takes time. The immigration process includes submitting documents for traveling to Canada. Travel Restrictions and pandemics affected the worlds traveling sectors and so on Immigration.

Immigration Target
It is planned that 60 percent of Immigration candidates will be invited under Economic Class, 15 percent under the refugee and Humanitarian Class, and the rest 25 percent under Family class. Family class Immigration candidates have no travel restrictions and immigration is inclined to economic and family class newcomers.
IRCC will work on additional measures to full fill the newcomer’s goals. Quebec also looking forward to welcoming around 30,000 economic class immigrants in 2021.
