Express Entry draw, Canada invites 3000 Canadian Experience Class candidates
Canada has invited 3000 Express Entry candidates in a recent draw, held on August 5. Canada has invited Canadian Experience Class candidates to apply for Permanent Residence. Candidates are invited with the minimum scores of at least 404.
Second-Lowest scores draw
In the previous CEC draw, candidates were invited with minimum scores of 357. This recent draw is the second-lowest draw of Canadian Experience Class draws. Previously the 13 February draw was the lowest scores draw and candidates were invited with the scores of 75.
CEC-only draw
After the outbreak of the pandemic there are only Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee Program and specific Express Entry draw. Under such programs candidates are invited with ties with Canada.
Due to travel restrictions Canadian experience class, 90 per cent candidates are in Canada at the time. Domestic candidates are preferred and are granted visa priority. The Federal Government has set a record immigration goal of 401,000 newcomers.
