British Columbia new PNP draw inviting 89 Tech Workers
British Columbia new PNP draw held on January 26, 2021, inviting 89 Tech Workers for Provincial Nomination. Invited candidates through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program then can apply for Permanent Residence so it’s a pathway to PR. Tech worker candidates are invited through the Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration, two streams.
Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC)
EEBC is for the candidates who have a valid profile in the Federal Express Entry System. Candidates first have to create a profile through the BC PNP online portal and register under the SIRS Skills Immigration Registration System. Interested Candidates are selected on the basis of scores that are awarded for age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and then employment. Selected candidates through provincial nomination can apply for Permanent Residence through IRCC.
Express Entry candidates with PNP nomination will get additional 600 points for CRS scores. These additional points will increase the CRS scores and guarantee an Invitation to Apply.
Skills Immigration Stream
This stream is for skilled and semi-skilled workers, the candidates who are under high demand occupations in the province. Selected candidates must have a valid job offer in any eligible tech occupation. Required scores for invited candidates was 80 in all categories to be invited.
British Columbia PNP
British Columbia is Canada’s PNP which invites newcomers according to the demand in the labor market of the Province. Tech Pilot was launched in 2017 to deal well with the International talent who were leaving the US and the growing Technology sector. This province is famous for tech expertise and innovations in the world.
In this year of 2021 only in this month, BC PNP has conducted 5 draws and scores from 77 to 106.
