British Columbia has invited 437 immigration candidates in a new Provincial Nomination Program draw held on August 7, 2020. In this British Columbia draw invitations are issued to Skilled Workers and International Graduate candidates.
The minimum score for British Columbia varies between 76 and 98 points depending on the subcategory.
Express Entry British Columbia candidates are also invited under two subcategories:
Skilled Worker with a provincial score of 97 and International graduates with 98 provincial scores. This category is open for the candidates who have a profile in Federal Express Entry system. It is a complete pathway towards Canadian permanent residence.
Under Skilled Immigration Stream there are three subcategories included:
Skilled worker with a provincial score fo 97, International Graduate with a provincial score of 98 and Entry-level and Semi-Skilled with a provincial score of 76 in this British Columbia PNP draw.
To be invited in above-mentioned categories under Skilled Immigration Stream candidates are required to register with the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). This registration is required after the completion of a profile with the British Columbia PNP’s online system.
For above all mentioned categories whether Express Entry or Skilled Immigration stream, all candidates must have a definite, full-time job offer with an employer in British Columbia.
