British Columbia Nominee Program
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program provides the pathway to this province of Canada to get skilled and qualified workers from all over the globe, according to economic demand of the province which is most economically developed among Canadian States. The BCPNP allows skilled workers and entrepreneurs to get permanent residency through different streams and the selected candidate by these PNP streams can apply for the permanent residency in Canada through IRCC Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
By the start of this year the new registration system launched by BCPNP named as Skilled Immigration Registration System (SIRS) which deals with the applications of interested candidates for BCPNP. It is the Expression of Interest base system like Express Entry which describes points to the applicants and selects the applicants with the best score.
For occupations
For occupations classified as NOC level B, applicants must have sufficient language proficiency in English or French by showing a minimum score of benchmark 4 under the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) in all competencies and for occupations classified as NOC level 0 or A, no language test results are necessary but if the applicant is claiming points for language. The BC PNP, however, may require valid language test results to determine proficiency in English. Candidate must have to demonstrate minimum income requirements and employer offering job must meet the requirements for employers in BC.
Express Entry stream
First we will mention here the Express Entry stream which deals with the BCPNP to select candidates for British Columbia like here is British Columbia PNP Skills Immigration stream which deals with SKILLED WORKER CATEGORY which is for the candidates who have eligible Canadian job offer in a skilled occupation with many years of experience or training under skilled occupation. The job offer must be in an occupation classified as NOC level 0, A, or B.
HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL
HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY in which candidate must have a job offer from eligible BC Public Health Authority in health care like Physician, Psychiatric nurse, helping health professionals among the 11 qualifying occupations in BC and must have two years experience in offered skilled occupation. As a midwife, an applicant must be registered with the College of Midwives of British Columbia and have a letter of confirmation from an established practise group in British Columbia confirming their acceptance into the group as an affiliated midwife for a period of at least six months and signed by the head of the practice group.
INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE
Then INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE CATEGORY which is for the candidates who have done their graduation in recent past two years from any eligible institute in Canada. Along with this, a job offer is needed which should be full-time employment for an occupation classified as NOC level 0, A, or B from an eligible B.C. employer.
INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE
Along with this INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE CATEGORY which is designed for the students having masters or doctor degrees in fields like Agriculture, agriculture operations and related sciences, Biological and biomedical sciences, Computer and information sciences and support services, Engineering, Engineering technology and engineering-related fields, Health professions and related programs, Mathematics and statistics, Natural resources conservation and Physical sciences from any eligible institute from BC and candidates have to provide evidence that they intend to live in British Columbia permanently.
ENTRY LEVEL AND SEMI SKILLED WORKER
And finally the ENTRY LEVEL AND SEMI SKILLED WORKER CATEGORY, including employment in the Northeast Development Region of BC, which is for the workers who are currently living and working in semi-skilled positions in industries like food processing, hospitality or long haul trucking or employed in the North East Development Region of British Columbia. To be an eligible candidate must have received an offer of indeterminate, full-time employment from an eligible B.C. employer, in an eligible occupation, have been employed full-time in an ELSS eligible occupation for at least nine consecutive months immediately before applying with the same B.C. employer supporting the application. Maintain full-time employment throughout the application process and job offer too should remain valid throughout the process. Submit language proficiency test CLB 4 in all components.
EXPRESS ENTRY BRITISH COLUMBIA is aligned with the Federal Express Entry immigration selection system which significantly reduces processing time as Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC almost took 2-3 months. Potential Express Entry candidates are required to meet minimum provincial eligibility criteria for one of these categories under the BC PNP Skilled Workers (including Health Care Professionals category), International Post Graduates which could be applied without a job letter, International Graduates, International Post Graduates category, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker Category.

This stream provides a pathway to Canadian permanent residence for experienced business people who can establish themselves in B.C. and invest in and give benefits to the provincial economy. Minimum requirements include Personal net worth of at least $600,000, eligible experience as an active business owner with 100 per cent ownership of the business for at least three of the past five years or Post-secondary credential. Submit a business concept that demonstrates an active management role in the day-to-day operations of the proposed business and the creation of at least one new job in the proposed B.C. business with Personal investment of CAD $200,000 is eligible expenses. If proposing a key staff member, the investment requirement increases to $400,000 and the job creation to three.
BC PNP ENTREPRENEUR IMMIGRATION-REGIONAL PILOT is a new immigration pathway for foreign nationals want to start and run a new business in smaller communities across British Columbia which have fewer than 75,000 people. Two years pilot intended to help distribute economic benefits.
BRITISH COLUMBIA PNP POINT CALCULATOR:
