British Columbia invited 417 PNP Candidates

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (B.C. PNP) has invited a total of 417 PNP candidates in a recent draw. Immigration candidates are invited on 14th October for a provincial nomination a pathway to permanent residence. Candidates are invited under Express Entry British Columbia and Skilled immigration Streams. Under Skills Immigrations candidates further invited under-skilled worker and International Graduate categories and Entry Level and Semi-skilled subcategories. In the previous draw, B.C. has invited 450 PNP candidates. B.C. holds draws on a weekly basis under different B.C. PNP categories and streams. The provincial nomination is a pathway to permanent residence with IRCC under the Provincial Nominee Program PNP.

CRS score for this round varied between 75 to 94 in all categories. The 31 occupations under which candidates are invited can be found on B.C. Government website. Scores are evaluated on factors such as education, Language proficiency, Work Experience and Employment. Candidates with British Columbia nomination will be given 600 points additional towards their CRS scores. 

Tech Pilot Draws

British Columbia also holds Tech Pilot draws on a weekly basis. This Tech Pilot, which was launched in 2017 which helps to recruit I.T workers according to labour market needs. Candidates are offered jobs in 29 eligible occupations for Provincial nomination. To be eligible candidates have to be registered in one of B.C. existing provincial immigration streams. Along with a valid job offer under eligible occupations of Tech Pilot. The job offer should be a minimum of at least 12 months. 

Candidates who want to apply under Express Entry B.C. or Skills Immigration, first have to create a profile through an online portal. They also have to get registered under Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
