British Columbia PNP draw, 216 invites in February

British Columbia PNP draws held on February 2 and 216 immigration candidates are invited. This recent draw held through its provincial nominee program under the province’s Express Entry British Columbia and Skills Immigration categories. A total of 208 invites are issued to Skill Worker and International Graduate candidates and the remaining 8 for Entrepreneurs. 

Eligibility and Cut-off scores

The cut-off scores under EEBC subcategories are 104 for Skilled workers and 100 for International graduates. To be eligible under these subcategories one has their profile in Express Entry System. Successful candidates will earn additional 600 CRS scores which will guarantee an Invitation to Apply. 

After the outbreak of COVID-19, it is seen that British Columbia has excluded many sales and services occupations. Although British Columbia continues to hold draws on weekly basis. Even this year, 740 invitations are sent by British Columbia PNP. 

Here we will mention the cut off scores for the three skills immigration subcategories are 98 for Skilled Worker and International Graduates and 79 for Entry Level and Semi-Skilled. 

Skills Immigration Stream

There are five categories aligned with Express Entry System and especially for those candidates who have a valid job offer in British Columbia. 

• Skilled Worker Category
• Healthcare Professional Category 
• International Graduate Category 
• International Post Graduate Category
• Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker Category. 

Entrepreneur Stream

Entrepreneur Candidates are invited for the first time in two months and now a total of 8 invitations are issued under Entrepreneur Immigration Base Category. The cutoff score for the candidates under this category is 122.
