Express Entry draw, 512 PNP candidates are invited for Permanent Residence
A recent Express Entry draw held on August 4, immigration candidates were invited with provincial nomination. In this draw, IRCC has invited 512 PNP candidates to be issued ITAs. Invited candidates have at least 760 scores and provincial nomination will add 600 points to basic points. In a previous invitation round 462 Express Entry candidates were invited with minimum scores of 734.
Tie-break rule
There is cut off time for this draw, candidates are invited if the Express Entry profile is submitted before March 5, 2021.
PNP-only draw
In this post-pandemic era, IRCC is focusing on PNP-only and CEC draws. This thing is prefered to deal with travel restrictions for the candidates who are already living in Canada. PNP candidates are selected according to the needs of the local market of the provinces.
Express Entry Invitations
The total number of Invitations to Apply ITAs are huge this year as compared to previous one. IRCC has plans to admit 108,500 newcomers for this year through Express Entry System.
Bigger draw sizes can bring the cut-off scores down. PNP candidates automatically get 600 additional points through the provincial nomination.
